Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
Contract
I signed a contract but the originating party did not sign their own contract. Is the contract valid?

Re: Contract
Did they sign your copy? The contract is valid if you two came to agreement as to the essential terms unless a part of the agreement was that you would not have a contract until it was written and signed.
There are also some contracts that are required to be in writing to be enforceable: contracts for sale of goods over $500, land sale contracts, contracts that can't be completed within one year, and surety contracts (guarantee debt of another).
Re: Contract
If it is contract that has to be in writing then both parties must sign. However, if it is a letter of intent or if the contract has been partially performed and can be a verbal contract, then a contract may be in existence.
