Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
Copyright- two owners disolved business
I am one of two owners of a copyright. I left the business but the other owner is still using and selling our copyrighted item. Do I have to take him to court to have him cease using the item since I am part owner? Will the judge tell us that neither can use the copyright? If you could advise me on what the usual outcome is, I would make my decision easier. Thank you for your help!

Re: Copyright- two owners disolved business
Is he diluting the value of the copyright by his sales? Did you have an agreement regarding the copyright if one of you left the business?
What was the reason you left? My guess is that you would have to take him to court.
Re: Copyright- two owners disolved business
If you are joint owners then either of you can use the copyright until the joint ownership is dissolved.
