Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
Exit Agreement
I am on Board (not sure of title) for a NV sm biz (12 people) and was hired as vp of ops in daily job, moved to LV for job, was consultant to company annually for 6 years prior. Have knowledge of owner/boss wanting to create an exit strategy for me. There are no confidentiality or non-competes in place. I believe he still wants to retain me in an advisory role. I would some advise on how strong my legal position is and/or what you would recommended that I negotiate for, ie. real estate market loss, moving expenses, lack of initially agreed upon bonus structure never coming to fruition, health benefits, etc.

Re: Exit Agreement
If you do not have any formal written contractual provisions governing your final compensation package your final terms must be pursued in face-to-face or written negotiations.
It would be hard for me to give you proper alternatives or advice without discussing more fully your roles and positions with your employer.
If you would like to schedule a consultation to discuss your matter, our attorneys charge fees of $100/hr for general matters.
Contact my office at your convenience if you'd like to schedule such an appointment.
