Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
Trying to file a civil action
I was terminated from a job after 17 years.(7-2005) The company had me arrested 2 months later for embezzlement. The charges were dismissed by a judge 8-2007. How do I file a civil action? The statute of limitations has expired for Defamation, etc.

Re: Trying to file a civil action
Most civil actions must be filed within two years. However, filing a breach of contract action has a 6 year statute of limitations.
I would recommend you speak to an attorney regarding whether you have a cause of action on such a theory.
If you would like to contact my office to schedule a consultation please do so at your convenience.

I wouldl strongly suggest that you try to find an attorney. If you make a misgtake you could owe a lot of money to the other side.
