Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
I invested several thousand dollars "seed round" into a new and emerging company that held several patents as intellectual property. This investment was made a decade ago and the "company" since has a website and seems to be well into taking orders, manufacturing and sales. I cannot get any legitamate answers to my questions, and have recieved no return on my investment to date. I would like to sell my interests and need legal consultation and advice as to how to commence this proccess.

As a Franchise Attorney with securities experience, I can say the following. It will cost you more a a couple thousand to consult with a good securities attorney. And the most likely advice for an investment that took place 10 years ago: forget about it, take a loss for the investment on next year's tax return (or this year if you haven't filed yet, or want to file an amendment). Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
