nonprofit byllaws

I have just downloaded NV Articles of Incorporation Form but also need nonprofit bylaw forms. Will the corporate bylaw forms serve or should I look elsewhere? thank you

Re: nonprofit byllaws

I think you should hire a lawyer to assist you. Many people try to form entities themselves, only to later learn that their documents are missing or incorrect. Their are several purposes for forming a corporation. The failure to properly set up the entity and run it could result in losing the benefits you sought to obtain.

There are a number of commercial websites that will give you sample bylaws for free if you purchase a corporate kit. The one I use the most is Attorney's Corporation Service: http://www.attorneyscorpservice.com/

If you are located in California and will be operating the nonprofit in California, it does not make much sense to form as a Nevada corporation. I have experience incorporating nonprofit organizations and helping them to apply for recognition as a tax exempt organizations. Feel free to contact my office for a consultation.
