Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
Selling a website
I am selling a website business, (an asset of our corporation) If my corporation is in Nevada, I am selling the website to a business/person in Detroit, Il. In the sale agreement do I need to add and collect 6.5% Nevada state sales tax? Or, because it's a website and sold across state lines... include no sales tax? (Keep in mind the sale is for hundreds of thousands...it's a lot of tax??!!

Re: Selling a website
Nevada sales tax would be applicable, however there are several exemptions this would probably qualify for. Please contact my office in order to discuss further. Thanks.
