stealing private information from a business
I own a hairsalon and two stylist that worked for me have gotten into my data base of all clients and copied the information, taken it and moved onto another salon and have contacted these client to let them know they changed salons. Is there any legal action I can take towards this. They are stilled owed money from me.

Absolutely, even if there is no covenant not to compete or written contract that prevents them from doing this. They are stealing your property, that being taken your clients to another salon. You can recover any damages you suffered and probably punitive damages. The issue is how much can you collect as it would probably $5,000 to take this case to an arbitration and you can sue the salon as well as your former employees.
