Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Nevada

I just left the hospital with my mother and the doctor said I am not allowed to go to school tomorrow, he also wrote a note excusing my absence. When I talked to my father about this he said I have to go. Does my father have the right to do so?

If you are a minor, your civil rights are very limited. You must obey your parents, or the parent that has legal custody.

If your father's demand is jeopardizing your health, you may have an issue relating to your welfare, and if he continues to insist that you do something which will cause physical harm to you, you may report him to the authorities.

Hope this perspective helps!
