Legal Question in Technology Law in Nevada
Illegal to voice record?
Recently, my roommate planted a voice recorder around our apartment. He recorded very private and personal phone and physical conversations on mine. Is it legal? What can I do if he is blackmailing me with it? The conversations are not illegal, but just very very intimate conversations that he is threatening to reveal if I do not do as he says.

Re: Illegal to voice record?
You will have to decide whether you want to cooperate with him or risk this stuff becoming public. Personally, I don't think anything is so private that I'd turn down the opportunity to criminally prosecute someone trying to blackmail me. You may also have civil damages. Our NV attorney can go over your options with you.
