web site pictures

Hi,

I would like to use some pictures from other web sites on my web site. How do I know if the pictures are under copyright or if they are fair game? If I create my own logo and place it on my site can others use it too?

Any thing in the public domain anyone can use. Thus if you go to Comp USA you can buy image art or photo art. Any thing copyrighted or trademarked you are subject to an infringement suit if you use it. If you want to protect your logo you have to mark it.
