Legal Question in Construction Law in Nevada
If I lend money to a contractor using a particular job invoice as the collateral, would I have the right to place file a lien on that property should the contractor default and not repay me? What is my recourse should that happen?

Under Nevada law, licensed contractors, design professionals, engineers, construction suppliers and laborers enjoy lien rights concerning works of improvement on real estate. Lenders, including those lending money to these persons or entities, do not. Your attorney can explain further.
