Legal Question in Consumer Law in Nevada
I took a chance of getting a grant "guaranteed" to me by SBA Consulting Serviuces in Las Vegas. They said they had the money and all I needed was to send the $8600 to them and they would fast track the money for our expansion. Now there is no grant, no callbacks, passing my "file" around, etc. Am I just out this large amount of money or can I sue them for fraud or theft or anything. I never would have done this had they not "guaranteed" they had the money in front of them. Thank you.

I think you are out the money but you can sue if you think that they have any assets to collect upon. You can check with the attorney general, consumer fraud, and they will tell you how many complaints this company has and whether it is worthwhile to pursue. If you would like an appointment, you can email me [email protected]
