Breech of contract

If I have an extra credit loan with a bank and am making payment arrangements with them. Can a loan advisor call my job and tell my supervisor the situation?

Yes I believe so. The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act would prevent a collection agency from doing that but if the loan adviser works for the bank that lent you the money, he can. If he lies, like saying that the loan is in default when it is not, you can sue him for slander.
