How do I collect my judgement?
I received an uncontested divorce by means of my wife defaulting on the divorce complaint. We had no joint property, but several thousand dollars of joint debt. The judgement, per Nevada law was for her to pay me half of the amount. When informed of the decision, she told me that she would just declare bankruptcy (she has a good job, but appears destitute due to her spending habits). I was told to record a lien, but what would that accomplish? I would like to ruin her credit, but mostly I just want to collect my judgement, by any means necessary. How do I go about doing that?

Hire a lawyer and sue on the debt. If you get a bankruptcy notice, hire a lawyer and object to the discharge under this law:
