Dismissal without prejudice

why would a CC/Collection agency Dismiss Without Prejudice instead of Dismiss WITH Prejudice when the account is way beyond the statute of limitation????

The case is over, and you won. If you paid a filing fee or other court costs, file a memorandum of costs.
