Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada
Is it possible to dispute a property lien?
I am in the process of selling my home and the title company has found a lien placed on my property that originates from a default court decision. I had a credit card dispute with Citibank and never even received notification or service of the lawsuit. A default was entered against me. I filed a motion on my own trying to get a new court date. I appeared in district court and the motion was denied. The lien was filed in November 2003. Is there anything I can do or is it too late?

You can try to do a motion to set aside the judgment, it may be too late.
