garnishment

My sister is being threatened with garnishment for a debt. She has been ill and her income is from disability from her employer. We know that wages are subject to garnishment, but can they garnish sick pay? Thank you.

No but they will. She will probably have to file a claim of exemption and go before the judge to resolve.
