Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada
I ilve in nevada and i loaned money to a friend from calif.I have to file for a small claims court and as long as the transaction took place here in nevada, does nevada have juristicion or to i have to file a claim in calif ?........Thank You.

You can sue in either place but, unless you know that he banks with a National Bank, ie. Bank of America or Wells Fargo, you will have to file the Nevada judgment in California to garnish or execute. I do know that Wells Fargo will take money out of a California account holder if you serve the writ of execution on a Nevada Wells Fargo branch.
