i have a payday loan out. and i defalted on it. now it is turned over to Collections. and the collections company calls my work number 2-3 times a day. i was making payments. then the collections company offard me a cash settlement. so i took it. and then the company called me and tild me they would not take that as a pay off. i have paid back what i borred. but with all the fees and everything i owe then 3 more times then what i got. what do i do?

Did they take your money for a total pay off and then rescind the 'offer' after you paid them what they said would pay it off? Do you have proof they did this? Do you have any writings? Never settle anything with these bloodsuckers without a writing. Tell them in writing to stop calling you and to only contact you in writing if that's what you want. Tell them to stop calling you at work. Keep a diary, keep proof of their lies. If you have proof they lied, they can lose money and pay attorney's fees. Google me.
