Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada

protection of assets in lawsuit

We are being sued. We have never been sued and I would like to know if there is Anything we can do to prepare for the worst case scenerio as far as protecting our assets or is it too late. We cannot afford attorneys.
