Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada
Hello,
I have a question about what I feel is contract law but I'm not sure. Never the less, I own a small carpet cleaning company and I was hired by a property management company to do some work for them. I had done about 5 jobs for them and just today I was told by the now former manager of that property which this company managed, that the property had been taken over by the court and had installed a different company to manage while in receivership. My question is who is responsible to pay the bill, the property or the management company who called us to perform the work
Please tell me what I need to do to get what I deserve for the work I performed. Thanks

Both, the receiver because the property is now operated by him and the property management company because they signed the contract or hired you if there was no written contract. I would make a demand upon both and if they don't pay you, sue them in small claims if under $5,000. If over, you can email me at [email protected]
