Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada
I recently found out that my ex husband, of a year and a half, signed my name as a guarantor on a lease for a resturant he opened this past April. Will I be held accountable if his business fails? Can I get my name off of the lease? We are in Nevada. Not to sure what the lwas are here and do not have the funds to obtain a lawyer at the time. Any info would be appreciated.

You can't be held liable as a guarantor unless you actually agree to it in writing. If they ever ask you for money, please contact me. davidottolaw.com 702-379-6540
