Restitution for bad check

i have a check than bounced. i called the collection service it was sent to to arrange to pay the check. I am unable to pay the check all at once, but i tried to make some kind of arrangements. The 3 people i have spoken to were all rude, and hung up on me. They told me if it is not paid within 24 hours they are going to freeze my bank accounts, and proceede with legal action. What should I do? I will pay the amount owed, but I am unable to come up with it all at once.

If I were you, my primary concern would be for the possible criminal charge. You should consult a criminal defense attorney immediately.
