Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada
siezure of funds
I had funds siezed from my bank account, I did not find out about this untill the money was already taken. I had thought that bank siezures had to go through the sheriffs office, the bank claimed that they had sent me a letter through regular (not registered mail).

Re: siezure of funds
You have 20 days after they notify you by regular mail to file with the Court to get the money back. Either the sheriff or constable served the levy on the bank.
