what needs to be included in an ''Answer'' to a summoms? We are being summoned for medical bills

With all due respect, if you have to ask, you should hire an attorney. However, if you can't afford one, you admit and deny the allegations of the complaint and you assert affirmative defenses, such as statute of limitations. Go to the law library and they will have sample forms or go to the court house and ask to look at a lawsuit file. They can't help you other than to show you what an answer looks like.
