Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada
Verbal Contract
My girlfriend had made a payment arrangement with her car company to make a payment on the 30th of last month. To her surprise and mine they had the car repossessed on the 28th. Can they do that even if there is a verbal agreement over the phone. Is there a way to get her car back? She will lose her job if she does not have a car. Help!

Re: Verbal Contract
Verbal contracts are enforceable if you can prove them. You need to contact the person you made the agreement with and have them fax the agreement. Without any proof to corroborate your story, you may not be able to prove there was an agreement made over the telephone. Had she already made a payment once pursuant to the agreement?
