Writ of execution for wage garnishment

I received a letter from the constable ''bobby...''today regarding a debt owed to one of the signature loans place here locally. They never contacted me or served me? Can they garnish my wages and put a judgement without serving me? And do i need to file an appeal of some sort so it wontgo into my credit? I had lost my job at the time i got the loan because i was terminated wrongfully because i filed a sexual harassment case against myb old work,and have been on a financial hardship. Please help

No they can't get a judgment without serving you but all they have to do is get some one to state under oath that you were served. You need to file a Motion to Set Aside Default.
