Can a person be held in costadey with out haveing arrinement after 72 hours?

The typical time for bringing someone for arraignment will be 48 hours. However, if there are circumstances such as a holiday, a sick judge, sick inmate, etc.; the delay for one extra day would not be considered unreasonable.
A court would look at the length of delay, the reason behind it, and the prejudice it brings against the defendant in determining what remedy to take.
