Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada

can someone who is convicted of a gross misdemeanor and sentenced to probation, be put in jail for violation of probation, without ever going through the proper orientation to receive the rules for probation. the dept of parole and probation sent my husband away three times because they could not yet assign him a PO officer. our attorney was 3 hours late for court on sentencing day. the proper court minutes were not sent over to the dept of p & p, so they had him listed as a felon, which he is not...he has been in jail for almost 2 weeks for violation. he has still never had probation orientation. they searched our home and seized our legally owned weapons. they created a dept of p and p violation report that is filled with a whole lot of lies...the story goes on and on..please someone....a GOOD Attorney and STAFF....PLEASE HELP US????
