Cosigner on apartment rental
If im on a rental application, but not the lease can i be held liable for leasee selling drugs without my knowledge

When dealing with criminal charges it would be difficult for the District Attorney to bring any formal charges if you did not actively participate in the drug transactions or know of their occurrence.
However, when dealing with the lease and your landlord your landlord would have the right to evict both you for illegal activities. Your defense of non-knowledge would insulate you from criminal charges but does not act as a defense in an apartmental lease.
