Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Do I need to go to court?
I was arrested for trespassing and given a court date. I called the Clark County Courthouse and was told the D.A. hasn't filed a case so I don't need to show up the date given to me upon my release. Is this true? I don't want any trouble and want to do what's right.

That is not unusual. Just make sure the Clerk has your correct address for the next year.
