Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
dog attacks
Dogs attacked and killed my chickens. What can I recover? They were more than just chickens to me, they were pets. How do I put a value on them and what can I do to ensure the neighborhood is safe from further attacks?

Re: dog attacks
Unfortunately animals are consided property only so you just get their fair market value. No emotional distress damages are allowed. You can get a restraing order or good fence to prevent future attacks.
