Please explain...
can you please explain to me what a ''hill motion'' is. example-''state directed to file a hill motion''? and can you also tell me what ''trial setting: civil stack'' means? thank you.

A Hill motion is based on a case which allows the D.A. to get a continuance after it shows that it subpoened a witness to court who did not show up.
Civil stack means a week or so of just civil trials. As opposed to criminal stack which means a week or so of just criminal trials.
