Extortion / Blackmail
The definitions for extortion and blackmail seem to be saying the same thing. What distinguishes one from the other, in the eyes of the law?

Extortion is getting someone to pay you or else you will hurt them physically. Blackmail is getting someone to pay you or you will hurt them psychologically.
