Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Extradition Laws
I have a neice who is doing her probation here in Idaho from Nevada and she got into trouble and her probation officer told her nevada wants to violate her and send her back to Nevada. She is talking crazy about running to another state with her baby I told her it is crzy they will find her and extradite her and she will go to jail any way. What are the laws in Nevada and Montana where she is thinking about going, on this type of thing?

If it is a felony probation violatin she will be extradicted from any state to Nevada. It would be better to try to resolve it with the Nevada Dept. of Probation.
