filing a motion
My husband was sentenced 12 months ''flat time'' in the clark county detention center in NV, and is currently incarcerated. In the state of NV there is a law against ''flat time'' sentences. I needed to know how do I go about filing a motion without a lawyers help. What do i need to do step by step?

The Motion that was filed in the recently-decided Haney case, which found flat-time sentences to be unlawful, was a "Motion to Correct Illegal Sentence".
