Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Gun Rights Restored
I was convicted of a felony for leaving the scene of an accident in 1999 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. I served 4 years and was released on probabation. I was released from probabation a little over a year early for good behavior. I have always really enjoyed hunting and it is something I really miss doing. I am trying to find out how I can get my gun rights restored so that I can hunt even if it is just in the state I currently live in. Is there anyway to do this and if so how can I go about doing it?

Re: Gun Rights Restored
You would have to either get a pardon from the Governor or file a motion for restoration of your civil rights.
