If the defendent had been clean for 27 months and police sent an undercover user into the home and started the defendent using again would that be grounds for entrapment?

Entrapment involves giving someone an opportunity to commit a crime who is not inclined to commit a crime. Because of your history undercover obviously felt that you were susceptible to re-offend. Therefore, they presented an opportunity to test you and you failed. Unless there was duress or coercion involved this would not constitute entrapment.
