Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada

Perjury resulting in guilty sentence

If you have proof that witnesses who testified against you in court perjured themselves resulting in your conviction or are still pending sentencing, but accepted a plea-bargain you should not have and now have the proof of the witnesses perjury, what are your options? Also if a law-enforcement agent has with-held critical evidence in your case, that has resulted in you being or going to be convicted of a crime what avenues should be taken to remove plea or overturn conviction, and how do you personally start legal proceedings to charge all persons involved with the perjury?

Re: Perjury resulting in guilty sentence

You need to file a motion to withdraw your plea. As far as perjury charges those must be filed by the prosecution. A private person cannot file that criminal charge.
