Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Personal Property
my x-husband allowed me to drive a car of his and for his own reasons has changed his mind. Car is in his name only. The 4 tires on his car i had just purchased weeks ago for 650.00 with my money and receipt is in my name. Have no problem with taking his car,but told him he cant have the tires , and when he comes to get his car he has to buy the tires from me or leave the tires w/ me and purchase his own. Do i have that right to request that of him ? Are the tires considered my sole property ? If they are and he takes car without doing either of what i told him can i report them stolen?

Re: Personal Property
The police are not going to take a theft report for that. It is your obligation to put the old tires on not his.
