Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Is a poa valid after death in Nevada . A tow company released my brothers vehicle to someone after his death to someone showing them a poa. The car was involved in a crime and the detective released it in my name.

A power of attorney always expires when the person dies. A durable power of attorney is valid when someone is mentally incapable of making their own decisions, such as when they are in a coma. A regular power of attorney expires when a person becomes legally incompetent.
