Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Selling of equipment
An ATV was purchased for a job on a
managers credit card. The ATV was
put in my name, paperwork title and
all.. no mention of the company.
After a year, I sold the ATV because
no one was using it. Just recently
the company asked for the ATV back.
Can they press charges against me
for selling an ATV that was in my
name?

Re: Selling of equipment
They could try charging you with embezzlement but the DA would probably decline so the company will sue you instead.
