Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada

I was just arrested for a warrant that was 3 yrs old simple battery. I was never spoken to by the police or a detective, it was a criminal compliant. What would be my best defense? What is the sentence structure if found guilty?

Self-Defense is the only defense. An attorney can probably get you into a diversion program w/an ultimate dismissal.
