Having to testify
does a person who is on federal probation have to testify if they are a witness and a victim in a case after being supbeona? will they go back to prison if they dont show up?

It depends on ther terms and conditions of probation. If you are suppose to cooperate with the U.S. Attorney and do not that could be deemed a violation. Otherwise, no probation violation although you can be put in jail for contempt of court for ignoring a subpeona or arrested as a material witness and held in custody to testify.
