Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Trespassing Las Vegas
I was at my hotel (venetian) playing poker. Security asked me to leave, and I said no because I have a room. They asked me a second time and I complied. Once outside, they said I was resisting arrest and tackled me. I was then booked for trespassing. Do I have a justifiable defense, and if not does anyone have an idea of what type of fine/jail etc I might get?

Re: Trespassing Las Vegas
Trespass depends on whether you've been given prior notice that you've been kicked off the property. 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine are the maximum penalties. Less is given for a first offense.
