warrants for arriving in country?

If I have a warrant for a DUI in Nevada, if I leave the country on vacation and fly back into Texas, will thhey arrest me for the warrant in Nevada or send me to Nevada? Does Statute of Limitations apply? Thank YOu.

The warrant for arrest is just to get you into court. Depending on the matter, you may be able to fly right into Nevada, because warrants for lesser crimes are not monitored. Most likely, Texas won't arrest you, either, because the warrant was issued on a state charge out of Nevada, rather than a federal charge. As for the statute of lim., when were you charged with the DUI in Nevada?

I agree with Mr. Iadevaia's answer re: whether you will be arrested.

You asked about a statute of limitations, but they govern only when a prosecutor may file charges and have nothing to do with when a suspect can be arrested. If charges have already been filed, the warrant will remain in effect until you surrender, are caught or die.
