Legal Question in Education Law in Nevada
I am the first born of 2 and my mother in PA just died. Would I be considered the next of kin, she has no spouse/

This question should be posted in PA, rather than in Nevada, and under the field of Probate, not Education.
In most states, children are considered to be next of kin. It doesn't matter whether you are the oldest, the youngest, a male or a female. All children are legally the next of kin to their parents!
