Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I have 2 children with my ex boyfriend, he is once again in jail, has never paid child support, and there is no custody order. I am getting married in a couple of weeks to a soldier and his orders will send us to Germany - does my ex have any say in whether or not I can move the kids with us to Germany?

If your facts are completely accurate, no. The "relocation statute" NRS 125C.200, applies to "cases in which custody has been determined." See the statute and other information posted at http://www.willicklawgroup.com/child_custody_visitation.

That said, you might save yourself a world of grief by obtaining a custody and relocation permission order in advance. Or you could consider terminating the bio dad's rights entirely, if you want to attempt such a step. See: http://www.willicklawgroup.com/child_support; http://www.willicklawgroup.com/termination_of_parental_rights.
