Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Adoption papers

Hello, On my birth certifacte , it has my orignal last name from my biological father, then My mother married and her husband gave me his last name so there is adoption papers invovled and I have lost my ID and need the adption papers to get it. I guess nevada law requires I need a lawyer to request a copy of that paperwork. Is there anyway around this.

The process of an adoption are extremely sensitive to privacy issues. If you are an adult one option might be to petition for a name change. I would want to speak to you further to flush out more detail.
